Use of the OIML logo

The use of the OIML logo is restricted to the OIML only.
The OIML logo shall be affixed on OIML Certificates of Conformity and their associated Test Reports under the responsibility of OIML Issuing Authorities.
Consequently, neither national authorities or manufacturers are allowed to use the OIML logo.
National type approval certificates, even if they are issued on the basis of OIML Recommendations, cannot bear the OIML logo.
If a manufacturer wants to use the OIML logo in his documentation, it could be possible if he publishes for instance the cover page of an OIML Recommendation with the logo on it (facsimile) or the cover page of one of his OIML Certificate, provided of course that an OIML Certificate was issued for the relevant product.
